Shooting day overview

The shooting of my music video was completed within a single day, which made the process both challenging and intense. Before beginning, I ensured that all necessary equipment, props, and locations were prepared in advance so that the shoot could be carried out as efficiently as possible.

I decided to film the outdoor scenes first, as they were dependent on natural lighting conditions. This allowed me to capture the required atmosphere and visual quality without the risk of losing light later in the day. Once the outdoor filming was completed, I moved on to the indoor scenes, where I had more control over lighting and could carefully create the low-key and chiaroscuro effects planned in my storyboard.

Throughout the day, I followed my shot list to ensure that all key scenes and angles were captured. Since the music video relies heavily on visual detail and symbolism, I recorded multiple takes for most shots to give myself flexibility during editing.

The shooting process was both enjoyable and demanding. While I found the experience fun and engaging, it was also physically tiring and required constant focus, as I had to complete all filming within a limited time frame. Managing different locations, setups, and shots in one day added pressure to the process.

During filming, I also encountered several unexpected challenges. Some shots required adjustments due to lighting conditions and positioning, while others needed to be retaken to achieve the desired composition. These issues required quick problem-solving and flexibility, as I had to adapt my approach while staying within the planned schedule.

Despite these challenges, the shooting day was ultimately productive. I was able to complete all the required scenes and gain practical experience in handling real-time production difficulties. This process helped me better understand the importance of planning, time management, and adaptability in media production.
